Nuusbrief 30 Mei 2022
Geagte ouers.
1. Baie geluk aan ons sportspanne wat gedurende die laaste week aan toernooie deelgeneem het en so goed presteer het. Baie dankie vir elke afrigter en ouer wat ons bygestaan het met die afrigting en vervoer van elke speler. Dit word opreg waardeer.
2. Alle sport het op Donderdag, 26 Mei 2022, vir die kwartaal gestaak. Ons juniorspanne speel nog op Saterdag, 4 Junie 2022, ‘n toernooi by Laerskool Blanco. Spelers het briefies ontvang. Baie sterkte met die wedstryde wat voorlê.
3. Ons vra dat ouers weer sal oplet dat skoolfonds R1200-00 per maand is. Daar is nog vele ouers wat verlede jaar se skoolfonds van R 1100-00 betaal.
4. Dit is belangrik om te let dat die skool vanaf Woensdag, 1 Junie 2022, vir alle leerders om 08:00 begin en 13:00 sluit.
5. Leerders word toegelaat om die 100-jarige hempies op Dinsdae en Donderdae aan te trek. Daar is baie hempies vir ouers beskikbaar by die klerebank, sou u belangstel.
6. Ons 100-jarige wynbottels is beskikbaar by die kantoor. Daar is slegs 400 genommerde bottels beskikbaar. U is welkom om vir u ‘n bottel/s te kom aankoop. Dit is werklik ‘n pragtige bottel wat u vir jare kan bewaar.
7. Let asseblief dat die 16 de Junie, Jeugdag, ‘n openbare vakansiedag is. Die WKOD het dan ook die 17de Junie ‘n skolevakansiedag gemaak.
8. Met die komende eksamen wat die week begin, vra ons dat leerders goed voorbereid sal wees. Dit is veral belangrik dat die graad 6-leerders hard moet werk, aangesien die rapport gedeeltelik sal bydra tot toelating vir die Hoërskoolaansoeke in 2023.

Dear parents.
1. Congratulations to our sports teams who have participated in tournaments during the last week and performed so well. Thank you to every coach and parent who assisted us with coaching and transporting every player. It is sincerely appreciated.
2. All sports stopped on Thursday, May 26, 2022, for the term. Our junior teams will still play a tournament at Blanco Primary School this coming Saturday, 4 June 2022. Players received letters. Good luck with all your matches.
3. We ask that parents again note that school fees are R1200-00 per month. There are still many parents who pay last year’s school fee of R 1100-00.
4. It is important to note that the school will start at 08:00 for all learners from Wednesday,
1 June 2022, and close at 13:00.
5. Learners are allowed to wear the 100-year centenary shirts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are many shirts for parents available at the clothing bank, should you be interested.
6. Our 100-year wine bottles are available at the office. There are only 400 numbered bottles available. You are welcome to come and buy a bottle / s for yourself. It really is a beautiful bottle that you can keep for years.
7. Please note that the 16 th of June, Youth Day, is a public holiday. The WCED therefore made a school holiday on 17 June.
8. With the upcoming exams starting this week, we ask that learners are well prepared. It is especially important that Grade 6 learners work hard as this report will contribute in part to admission to the High School applications in 2023.
